Indio da Costa Studio is a 40-year Brazilian multidisciplinary group of Architects & Urban Planners, and Industrial Designers, supported by various specialists who won several international awards and have their products displayed in museums worldwide.
Before starting to wireframe, new information architecture was developed for the website by gathering information from the stakeholders in the four main areas (architecture, urban planning, product design, transportation design). The owners decided on the acronym A.U.D.T. related to the areas mentioned above. They asked for a website structure that could have an excellent portfolio section and could also be changed by the marketing team.
A WordPress template was previously chosen but was modified by an outsourced developer’s team according to the client’s specific needs.
Gathering all the information and deciding on a common path for both Architects and Industrial Designers was challenging yet very rewarding. Every part of the website was truly thought through, with several testings and the team’s consultations.
The main navigation bar and the relevant areas of the Studio were defined as:
Projects (Portfolio) and Main Menu.
The inner part of the portfolio had a slide carousel. On the bottom right side, you would find the product’s specifications. You could choose to see either images or videos of that product by clicking on the icons below.
The mobile app was following the project's responsive quality, and it was the first mobile version created for this com
